Contract Administrator

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible Contract Administrator to join our team. Your main duties will be to prepare, negotiate and review various company contracts. A successful Contract Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks. Ultimately, you should ensure all our contracts conform to legislative requirements and meet our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all client instructions are logged

  • Responding to customer communication via telephone and or emails

  • Allocation of jobs to specific engineers and purchase orders to subcontractors

  • Communication with colleagues/team - keeping them informed of client changes/requirements

  • Administrative support per contract with the Clients and Contract Managers daily

  • Running monthly reports

  • Renewing and amending contracts

  • Negotiating sales with subcontractors

  • Maintaining your own contract planner

  • Resolving queries with invoices for planned maintenance works

  • Issuing PQQ’s and setting up of new subcontractors

  • Support Mobilisation when required

Location:

St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous administration support experience

  • Good MS Office skills including Excel and Word

  • Able to produce professional written communication

  • Highly organised with effective time management and ability to multitask

  • Flexible and adaptable at any given moment, and able to work to strict timescales

  • Able to remain calm and considered

  • A proactive individual who has excellent interpersonal and influencing skills – these are required when following up for information

  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment

  • Standard Grade Qualification in English or Equivalent

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Maths skills
